1. Hard Starting or No Start Issues

One of the earliest and most common symptoms of a failing injection pump is difficulty starting the engine.

Diesel engines rely on high-pressure fuel delivery to ignite correctly. If the pump is worn or losing pressure, the engine may crank for longer than usual before starting, or struggle to start at all.
