Engine Inspections 

The Federation holds a list of approved consulting engineers who will carry out engineering inspections and write full reports in the event of disputes over engine or component failures.

Code of Practice 

The Federation has a Code of Practice drawn up in consultation with the Office of Fair Trading, the compliance of which is mandatory but which positions the FER at the forefront of the industry.

Through its legal and business helpline, members have free access to a range of advice on law, personnel, VAT, health and safety, tax, payroll and employment.

Marketing and Public Relations 

The Federation is committed to promoting the interests of its members by informing the trade and public of the benefits of using an FER member. We also lobby government over issues that affect our members.

The Federation is divided into six regions who hold regular meetings for technical discussions, technical lecture programmes, work visits and social events.
