Elring Parts Ltd is part of the global organisation ElringKlinger . As an automotive supplier, ElringKlinger has become a trusted partner to its customers – with a firm commitment to shaping the future of mobility. Be it optimized combustion engines, high-performance hybrids, or environmentally friendly battery and fuel cell technology, ElringKlinger provides innovative solutions for all types of drive systems.

The story of Elring Parts Ltd began in 1996 and since that time, the company has been on a journey of evolution.

Today, that evolution results in the supply of not just Elring gaskets and sealing solutions but the stewardship of OE quality parts and brands such as Pierburg, Beru, VDO, Wahler and Kolbenschmidt to name but a few.

Hitachi is the latest brand to join the portfolio and UK managing director Garry Waite says it’s all about adding value to the customer. “We are always looking at opportunities, both with our customer base but also new areas to see where we can offer a new brand proposition.

“We don’t sell part numbers, we sell solutions, all of which are backed up by a serious level of wrap around services such as technical support and expertise.”

Elring Parts has 4000 delivery points across the UK & Ireland , it is well practiced in bringing brands to the market. At its 25,000 sqft home in Gateshead, the company is using every inch of the available space.

“Brexit made the company pivot” says, Mark Ventre, Sales & Operations Manager UK, Eire & Iceland.  “Availability is key and we’ve invested heavily in supporting customers.”

This investment also extends to cataloguing and electronic trading. When new brands come in the Elring Parts portfolio, they do so with the full backing behind them.

“We’re always looking at the market,” added Mark. “Our parent company was built around combustion engines and now we’re investing in fuel cell technology, looking at how we can support the aftermarket of tomorrow.”

Already, the company has a growing range of thermal and cooling parts for EVs with research and development ongoing on the future of mobility.

Garry adds: “We are specialists in what we do and with that comes knowledge, range and expertise. We’re supporting our customers with a wide range of technical expertise but going further in helping their business transition to cover the vehicles of tomorrow.”
